Our Refinishing process is three stages and can be done very quickly and will minimize the time you have to stay away from the house and floors. the first step in the refinishing process is the sanding. we beleive in only sanding down as little as possible to get your floors looking new again.  Once floors have been sanded then we do finish sanding, which is usually done with a buffer, this step is to make the wood as smooth as possible and to eliminate any sanding marks. this stage does not take much off of the wood.  The final stage is the finishing in which we seal and/or stain then apply polyurethane.  we do use oil and water based polyurethane, if you need help choosing contact us for more information or check out some of our resources and links.
