Resurfacing your hardwood floors is a great way to get your floors looking like new again without having the floors sanded and it is much cheaper too.  Any type of hardwood floors can be resurfaced, even pre-finished flooring,  as long as the finish hasn't wore down to bear wood.  In resurfacing, the floors are lightly abraded to rough up the surface and then another coat of plolyurethane is applied, so there is no mess and you can get back on the floors very quickly. This will add more life to your floors and keep them looking new.  Even floors that are taken care of wear down over time.  If you have them resurfaced as this happens your floors will never need to be sanded and will last for a very long time.
